Bogan’s Bar

A popular family-owned premises in Omagh town centre, Bogan’s has attracted tens of thousands of followers on a variety of social media platforms.

Upon opening its new rear extension, the bar only showed a tiny snippet of video to create interest and awareness for people to feel drawn to come along and see it for themselves. This sparked a lot of interest locally.

Bogan’s is also well-known for posting pranks on social media to celebrate April Fools Day, making for a humorous talking point across the town.

Dollybird Interiors

A growing interior design service based in Omagh, the owners of Dollybird credit social media with helping their business to thrive.

In the early days, they were a new offering and met people at local markets and also placed their products in unusual places in order to spark curiosity.

They regularly participate in social media challenges for fun and also keep it personal, with daily behind-the-scenes videos.

Over lockdown, Dollybird used social media to sell some products. So much paint was sold that they invested in a paint-tinting machine.

CORE Kids NI

Helping hundreds of local schoolchildren improve their mental wellbeing through physical activity, CORE Kids NI has grown rapidly through innovative use of social media.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, they used social media to provide free PE lessons and family workouts for 101 days consecutively.

This helped their following grow from 1,200 to an impressive 10,000.

The company posts daily stories on their feed that help attract new and existing customers and, through their YouTube channel, they provide free games, podcasts and videos for educational purposes.
