McGIRR, Lily (née McDonagh) – Fintona, died peacefully at her sons residence on Sunday, 21st February 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of late Edward, cherished mother to Eddie (Kay), Vincent (Rosemary), Fran, Patricia Ward (Jim), Damien (Geraldine) and the late Brendan (Breige), Sean (Jenny) and Bernie Maguire (John). Devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and the late Michelle, cherished sister to Maureen Connolly and the late Hughie, Tommy, Phil, Barney, Brendan, Vincent, Eamon, Stephen, Maggie McGuinness and Cecilia Gormley.
Lily will leave her late residence, 30 Legamaghery Road, Fintona, BT78-2HA on Wednesday, 24th February for Requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be private and the funeral limited to 25 persons. The funeral Mass can be viewed at 11 am on Wednesday, 24th February via Donacavey Parish webcam.
Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces and entire family circle.
