BAILEY, Violet

BAILEY, Violet (née Johnston) – August 22nd 2020, (suddenly) at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, late of 20 Coronation Park, Sion Mills. Dear wife of Sam and loving mother of David, Doris, Charles, Ruby, Joanne, Samantha and William. Also a cherished mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Funeral on Tuesday, 25th August in The Church Of The Good Shepherd, service at 10.30 am, followed by internment in Urney Cemetery.

Due to the current restrictions the service is strictly private, but those wishing to pay their respects may stand along Main Street, Sion Mills as the cortége makes its way to Urney Cemetery via Bellspark Road.

Will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by the entire family circle.

    Violet was one in a million and devoted to her church
    Any church event Violet was there in the middle of everything
    Will be sorely missed. God Rest Her Soul.

    I will always remember where I learned to play darts. Peeling potatoes by the sink. Best gravy in 6 counties. Growing up at the kitchen table. The strawberry fair, which was her jam. Seeing us out of the driveway and waving us home. Roses and Red, and there aren’t enough words to describe Violets.
