COX, Betty (Elizabeth (née Donaghy) – formerly of Drumfad, Ballygawley, Co. Tyrone, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness borne with great courage. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Tom and her brothers Frank, Peter, Jimmy, Eugene and Paul. Devoted and legendary mother to Margaret, Marie, Thomas, David (Moycullen), Christopher, Michael, Gerard (Furbo), Stephen (Australia), Elizabeth, Johnny (Dublin), Robert, Brendan and Jennifer.
Sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sisters Kath, Philomena, Ann, Deirdre, Sheila and Vera, brothers Gerry, Brendan and Martin. Lovingly remembered also by all her daughters-in-law Karen, Philomena, Emer, Clodagh, Donna, Paula, Dearbhla and Ciara, sons-in-law Felim, Conal and Rob, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces and by her twenty eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, dear neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, H91 V1K8 on Wednesday, 15th June from 4 pm to 7 pm. Removal from Betty’s home on Thursday morning, 16th June to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, the Claddagh in advance of Requiem Mass at 11 am.
