Beloved husband of Mary; much loved son of Ruby and the late William Hegan (Snr); father of Alan (Kathy), Liz (the late Ali), George (Meabh), Ruth (partner Lee); son-in-law of Ellen and the late Joe Forrest; brother of Audrey (Geoff), the late Samuel (Carol and Ronnie); brother-in-law of David, Georgina, Charles (Christine) and Janet (Robert); much loved grandfather of Noah and Ruby-Jayne; cherished uncle, cousin and friend.

Funeral service in Sandholes Presbyterian Church on Sunday, 8th January 2023 at 2.30 pm, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.
