McKENNA, Joe

McKENNA, Joe – (20 Lambrook Grove, Omagh), peacefully at home, 26th May 2020. Beloved son of the late Alice and Paddy, fiancee of Doreen, loving father of Lorraine, Gareth, Sabrina and Adrian (pre-deceased), brother of Carmel, Una, Helen, Kay and Kevin.

Due to current restrictions the wake and funeral are private and for family members only.

Joe’s remains will leave 7 Riverview Road, Omagh at 9.15 am on Friday, 29th May and travel along main Cookstown Road past T.C Autos turning left at Old Mountfield Road for Killyclogher, allowing friends and neighbours to show a presence along the route to pay their last respects whilst social distancing.

Requiem Mass will be at 10 am in St. Mary’s, Killyclogher, available on cappaghparish.com webcam. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing fiancee, son, daughters, brother, sisters, in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made payable to Mari Curie Fund.

Lovingly Remembered and sadly missed by the entire family circle

    It is with sadness that I learn of Joe’s passing. I knew him very well in mid to late 70’s when we taxi’ together. A real gentleman. RIP
