THORNTON, Mary Jane (May) (née Doherty) – (69 Orritor Road, Cookstown, BT80-8BH, peacefully February 15th, 2022, RIP. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bobby), RIP. Devoted mother of Gerald, Ann-Marie (Mullen), Sharon (O’Doherty) and Brian. Also mother-in-law of Clare, Mary and James. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother. Precious sister of Michael, John and the late Kathleen (Mastin), Rita (Downey), Patsy, Eugene, Willy, Danny and Andy, RIP.
May’s remains are reposing at her family home, with wake on Wednesday from 11 am to 9 pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10:50 am via Burn Road/Fairhill for 11:30 am Requiem Mass in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown, burial afterwards in Ardmore Cemetery, Co. Derry.
Home private to family on morning of funeral.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and her entire family circle.
