KRIS Lindsay said he is considering his future as manager of Dungannon Swifts.
Lindsay described Saturday’s 5-1 defeat to Ballymena United at Stangmore Park as “embarrassing” and “unacceptable”.
He questioned the hunger and desire of his players but also questioned his own position. The Swifts boss said he had a lot of thinking to do over the weekend.
“Disappointing is not the right word. embarrassing is the right word,” he said.
“Maybe I have got to look at myself, why are the players just not doing it for me? I have a lot of thinking to do over the weekend because that was embarrassing .
“That’s unacceptable and as I said if it was a one-off then maybe, you put it in the bin but it’s not it’s time after time after time. I have got to look at things. Am I not getting enough? Am I not giving the right instruction? It’s certainly looking like that at the minute.
“The players have shown they are capable in a number of games this year against better sides so again that poses the question why?
