Police called to another fight among teenagers at Omagh bus depot

A FIGHT involving teenagers near Omagh bus depot last week marked the third such incident in 18 months to require police intervention.

Several police vehicles were deployed to the scene at the car park beside the depot around 3.45pm on Tuesday, March 25.

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed, “Police received a report of a fight involving a group of teenagers… Enquiries are ongoing.”

The incident follows a fight between two schoolgirls at the Drumragh Avenue depot just two months ago. That case remains under investigation.

This time last year, footage of schoolchildren fighting at the bus dept – one allegedly armed with a pair of scissors – went viral.

Alliance councillor Stephen Donnelly urged young people to reflect on their actions and warned against others following suit.
