ONE of the three victims of last night’s crash near Moy was a father-of-four.
Conor Quinn, 31, from Derrylaughan, died in the three-car collision on the Armagh Road, which happened around 10.20pm.
The other two victims have been named locally as 23-year-old Laura Hoy, from the Cookstown area, and John Guy, 48, from Keady in County Armagh.
A death notice published this evening for Conor said his funeral arrangements will be announced later.
The notice said he was the beloved son of Bernie (nee Gates) and Hugh, and the cherished father of Riley, Garry, Cathair, Turlough.
Conor was also the much loved brother of Roisin (Dean Marshall), Padraig (Álanna), Cathal (Roxanne), and the randson of John and Mary Gates and the late Paddy and Mary Ellen Quinn.
The notice added that Conor’s death is deeply regretted by his family and friends.
Four other people were injured in last night’s collision, with three of them being taken taken to hospital.
Police said they received a report at about 10.20pm on Saturday night of a three-vehicle collision involving a red BMW, a grey Volkswagen and a white Audi.
“Officers attended, along with colleagues from other emergency services,” said assistant chief constable, Davy Beck.
“However, two men, aged 31 and 48, and a woman, aged 23, were sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Four other people sustained injuries, three of whom are receiving medical treatment.”
Police enquires are continuing and anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage or any other information, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1654 – 21/02/26.
