Tributes to much loved member of Timorese community in Dungannon

TRIBUTES have been paid to a woman who lived in Dungannon for many years after moving there with her family from East Timor.

Ana Glória Do Rosário Gonçalves died at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on May 30.

A service in honour of the mother-of-five, who was pre-deceased by her daughter, will be held tomorrow at St Patrick’s Church in Dungannon, before Ana’s remains are repatriated to East Timor.

She was a popular member of the locally-based Timorese community and a spokesperson for the Timorese Association Inclusive Support (TAIS) NI said she would be remembered for her ‘constant smile and warm heart’.

“She brought light and joy wherever she went,” the spokesperson said.

“Her kindness and gentle spirit touched many, and her presence will be truly missed.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Ana’s family, especially her beloved children, whom she leaves behind.

“May they find comfort in knowing how deeply she was cherished by all of us.”
