The death has taken place April 13th 2025 at the Foyle Hospice of Tessie Mc Grath, 4 Owenreagh Drive, Strabane and formerly of Ballyfatton. Beloved sister of Ann and the late Colm, Peggy, Katie, Bridget, Linda, Molly, Toby, Jim, Joe and Paddy. Reposing at her home on Monday (April 14th) from 12 noon. Funeral leaving her home on Tuesday (April 15th) at 11.25a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Melmount at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister, nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces and family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Carty (Dungannon) April 12th 2025. Marie (née Steele), beloved wife of Gerry. Much loved mother of Patrick (Patrice), Ronan (Bronagh), and Niamh (Peter). Cherished grandmother of Ellie Mai, Conan, Naoíse, Fiadh, and Clodagh. Dear sister of the late Cecelia Willoughby and loving daughter of the late Mai and Frank Steele (Ardbeg). Marie’s remains are reposing in her home, 56 Springdale, until removal on Tuesday to St. Patrick’s Church, Dungannon for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Carland Road Cemetery. On her soul sweet Jesus have mercy. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister-in-law who will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
