A SPECIAL event will be held in Omagh next month to give people a chance to get more involved in their local community.
The Connecting Communities Event will be held on Wednesday, July 23, from 12 noon to 2pm at The Grange.
A spokesperson for the organisers said the event, hosted by the Live Here Love Here organisation, brings together local residents, businesses, and community leaders to spark ideas, build connections, and drive positive environmental change.
“Discover volunteering opportunities, explore funding options, and connect with passionate people making a difference. Meet organisations like Volunteer Now, True Harvest Seeds, and Ulster GAA as they showcase their work and share ways to get involved.
“Whether you’re looking to give back, grow your network, or learn something new, this is the perfect place to start.”
