Putting everything you need to remember on a list will help to calm your nerves and make sure that all goes to plan.
Here is the ultimate last minute check list to make sure nothing gets forgotten…
1. Sort-Out Directions
Not only for yourself (although that would be a good idea) but make sure that everyone has directions to the venue, especially any caterers or the like. If you need to, make sure that everyone has a phone number of someone they can ring if they get lost or will be late.

3. Pack For Your Honeymoon
Once the wedding starts, the whole day will be a whirlwind and you’ll be too happy to think about anything as boring as packing. Make sure you’re prepared with everything you need in advance so you can grab your suitcase and go!

You don’t want anything important to go missing and you don’t want to have to worry about being responsible so appoint a trusted friend to keep hold of all important legal documents.
5. Find A Gift Caretaker
Unless you appoint people with specific jobs, they probably won’t want to interfere on your big day. Unfortunately, that could mean having to do everything yourself. Appoint a gift caretaker to take on some of the work and that’s one less thing for you to worry about.
6. Hydrate The Flowers
If necessary, make sure the flowers are watered, particularly your bouquet. If you have fake flowers or alternative decorations then feel free to skip this step!

Make sure your DJ or performer knows exactly what you want. There’s nothing worse than stepping onto the dance floor and hearing the wrong tune. A do-over isn’t in the plan. There’s nothing wrong with getting the music-caretaker to assure that all is in order.
8. Make Sure Everyone Will Be Looked After
For older guests or anyone that needs that extra help, make sure that you appoint people to look out for them. You want everyone to enjoy the day as much as you, but you can’t be watching everyone at once!
9. Have a Rain Plan
You never know what the weather is going to do so prepare an umbrella, coat and potentially some wellies to protect your outfit and shoes. Make sure you remind the groom to think about this as well! Check out our post “Turn a Rainy Day Wedding to your Advantage” for more tips.

Even if you feel a bit funny on the morning of your wedding, or the night before, make sure you eat normally so that you don’t get hungry at an awkward time. You’ll thank yourself later.
