‘Love is all around’ as locals share their Valentine’s plans

Ahh, St Valentine’s Day… the day to celebrate love with our significant others but also a time of year to show appreciation towards our friends and family.

We took to the streets of Omagh to find out what locals have planned with their loved ones on the day of romance.

“I am working on Valentine’s Day but I booked a weekend away the following weekend in Belfast for me and my girlfriend. We are staying two nights and we have planned to go out for dinner to the restaurant Stix and Stones.”

“My plan for Valentine’s Day is to go out early in the morning and get a coffee for my mum and bring it back to the house and then I will go and buy flowers and give them to my granny.”

“My partner and I are both working on Valentine’s Day but we are off on the Thursday so we are going to go away for the day and do a movie night. We’ll probably also go out for dinner in Omagh that weekend as well.”
