FROM painting to pastels, a number of art workshops taking place at the Burnavon Theatre in Cookstown will promise to help reignite your creativity and let your imagination soar this September.
On September 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 7pm to 9pm, a special series of very popular painting workshops, where you are taken step-by-step through the process of producing your own watercolours.
Under the expert guidance of tutor George Gourley – who has extensive experience of working with all levels of ability – you will be amazed at the progress you make and the brilliant artwork you can produce.
These classes are a great way to take time out, relax and explore your artistic side.
Please note: This event is suitable for ages 16-and-above, and all materials will be provided for participants.
Meanwhile, on September, Saturday 9 at 10.30am to 3.30pm, Grace Scott will present a one-day workshop of her inspiring pastel painting.
The workshop will target beginners and those who have some experience working with pastels and need a little more guidance to perfect their technique.
Participants can choose from photographs supplied by Grace or can use their own photograph. Photographs must be your own or you will need to have permission to use a picture taken by someone else. Photographs must be A4 size.
Please note: This event is suitable for ages 16-and-above. All materials will be provided, and there will be a short lunch break for participants, so make sure and pack your healthy snacks and treats ahead of time.
