It has become popular for Husband’s-to-be to surprise the Bride with some sentimental treats or gifts the evening before, or the morning of, the wedding.
Here are 7 ways you could surprise your future hubby on your wedding day:
1. A Boudoir Shoot
Give your man a real treat by secretly doing a boudoir photo shoot and giving him an envelope with the best shots on the morning of your wedding. A professional photographer can help you take very tasteful images that you are sure to treasure as much as him!
2. Morning After Breakfast
If the way to your man’s heart is through his stomach, arrange for breakfast in bed the morning after the wedding with some of his favourite foods. If you think you won’t be up for an early breakfast after the late night and numerous glasses of bubbly, then book a table at his favourite restaurant for the evening after the wedding (or at that top restaurant he’s always wanted to try).
3. Leave a Secret Note
Steal your Groom’s tie before the big day and get a special message embroidered on to it. From a simple and romantic message, to the date you met, or the date of your wedding day, a simple gesture like this can mean a lot.
4. A Garter with a Difference
Most Bride’s will have a traditional garter for their wedding day, but you could always jazz yours up by getting one in the colours of his favourite sports team, or in a style that reflects one of his passions – does he like comics, superhero movies, or Game of Thrones? Get a themed garter to really give him a surprise.
5. Travel in Style
If your partner is a car-lover, arrange for a sports car for him to travel to the wedding ceremony – he’ll be so excited! If you want to be a little more daring – get the whole Bridal Party to travel to the wedding together, but blindfold the Groom so he still can’t see you before you walk down the aisle. You’ll get to soak up the atmosphere together and have a chance to speak to one another before the ceremony.
6. Celebrity Message
If your Groom has a favourite local celebrity or sports person, reach out to them on social media to see if they would write you a short note to give your partner on your wedding day, or if they would even record a short message for you to play at the reception. You might just be surprised who could reply!
7. Personalised Cufflinks
They will be worn on your wedding day, and for many other formal functions for years to come, so get your Groom some personalised cufflinks, so that he can wear your heart on his sleeve.
