AN Augher man has been accused of domestic abuse, including two alleged instances of non-fatal strangulation.
John Patrick Quinn (34), of Knockview, was charged at Omagh Magistrates Court.
He is accused of committing domestic abuse between November 1, 2022, and December 27, 2024 alongside two counts of non-fatal strangulation. Quinn is also charged with seriously assaulting the alleged victim, making a threat to kill and damaging a necklace, all allegedly occurring on December 26.
District Judge Barney McElholm released Quinn on his own bail of £500, to return to Omagh Magistrates Court on December 9 for an update.
