FOR two nights only, the Patrician Hall in Carrickmore are turning back the clocks as they prepare to host a second run of strictly eighties music with their ‘We Are Going Back To The 80s’ show.
Following a successful run earlier this year, the highly anticipated variety night will host a string of local talent bringing the eighties to life in aid of the Friendly Care Group and Patrician Hall.
Including such classics as ‘Walk of life’, ‘Footloose’ and ‘Simply The Best’, the sounds of the eighties will be brought to life by a live band featuring such local talent as Aiden Scott-Browne, Noelle Toner, Shauna McGarrity, Conal Ward and band leader Eamon McGarrity.
Amongst those taking to the stage on the night and bringing the stars of the eighties to life will be Tony O’Gara, Breannain Collins, Georgia McCrory, Donna Blaker and Rebecca Wilson to name a few.
It will also see the return of Rachael Ward, marking her first time returning to the Patrician Hall stage in a number of years.
Following a successful run of shows in February, the show was branded by those in attendance as ‘a fantastic show’ with many ‘outstanding performances’ and a ‘great night’.
Patrician Hall committee member Conor Allison said, “following the success of our last eighties night, we are really looking forward to bringing it back for what will definitely be an incredible night of nostalgia, good music and great craic!”
The show will take to the stage in the Patrician Hall, Carrickmore for two nights only this Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7.
Doors are at 7.30pm and the show will begin at 8pm.
