SIX men have been charged as part of a major PSNI investigation into suspected cannabis cultivation following searches carried out across Counties Tyrone, Armagh, and Fermanagh and are due to appear before Strabane Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch confirmed the charges after a series of searches linked to the ongoing investigation.
The men, aged 20, 23, 34, 42, 51 and 53, have each been charged with a range of drug-related offences, including cultivating cannabis, being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug and dishonestly using electricity.
The charges follow a major operation during which police uncovered a number of suspected cannabis grow houses across the three counties.
All six men are due to appear before Strabane Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday).
