A TEENAGER is due to appear in court this morning (September 1) following the death of a man in Dungannon on Saturday.
The 16-year-old is charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and making threats to kill.
He will appear via video-link to Omagh Magistrates Court.
Police said a man’s body was discovered inside a house on the Lisnahull Road at around 11am on Saturday, 29 August.
A seriously injured child and a woman who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries were also found at the property.
The child remains in a critical condition in hospital, while the woman has since been discharged.
Detective Chief Inspector Robinson said the cause of the man’s death had not yet been formally established and that post-mortem examinations would take place in due course.
