Investigation launched following robbery at County Tyrone business

POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery at a business near Creggan yesterday (Monday).

The incident was reported at a premises in the Barony Road area at around 8:15pm.

A PSNI spokesperson said, “It was reported that a male entered the premises and demanded money from two staff members before making off in a car in the direction of Carrickmore.

The suspect was described as wearing a hooded top, and his face covered apart from his eyes.”

Detectives are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed anything suspicious, or who may have information on the incident to contact the police on 101 quoting the reference number 1507 of 03/01/22.
