DETECTIVES investigating the attempted murder of Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell have today, Thursday, arrested a 44-year-old man.
He was detained in the Dungannon area under the Terrorism Act, and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
A property was also searched and a number of items have been taken away for further examination.
DCI Caldwell suffered life-changing injuries after he was shot multiple times at Youth Sport Omagh in February last year.
