THE latest figures released by the Department of Health show a further 13 confirmed positive cases of the virus in the North, bringing that total to 4,709.
Two of those new cases have been recorded in the Mid Ulster council area with the number of confirmed cases rising to 250 from yesterday’s total of 248.
The number of confirmed cases in Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area remains the same as yesterday with 81 cases reported, while no new cases have been recorded in Derry City and Strabane in the past 24 hours as the number of cases remains at 160.
There has been one further Covid-19 related death since Friday recorded by Northern Ireland’s Department of Health.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to 522.
