Omagh craft shop appeals for young entrepreneurs

OMAGH Craft Collective is running their ‘Young Entrepreneur Programme’ to help under-18s start up their own businesses.

The programme offers both mentorship and a sales platform to help any budding young crafty business people a starting point on their entrepreneurial journey.

Young people who are accepted do not pay rent or commission to show their wares in the newly-refurbished store located in the centre of Omagh.

Previous young entrepreneurs helped by the scheme have gone on to study ceramics at university, using the skills they learned in the programme. The store’s current Young Entrepreneur, Molly McCausland, is using her skills to raise money for Air Ambulance NI. She has raised a fantastic £1,120 in 2023 alone.

If you are interested in the programme you can ask for an application in the Omagh Craft Collective store on Market Street or email them at omaghcraftcollective@ gmail.com.
