It has continued to grow year-on -year with large crowds turning out to cheer on marchers as they make their way through Tyrone’s county town streets.

Omagh Pride chair, Shane Pritchard, said, “After Covid and other challenges in our first two years, the 2023 parade brought Omagh Pride to a new level.

“More people marched than ever, and the town was a sea of rainbow colours.

“It was a fantastic day.

“We’re hoping to build on that energy and deliver another empowering, inspiring and enjoyable event for LGBTQ+ people and the wider community.

“And of course, Pride isn’t just about one day.

“We’ll be organising a series of social, cultural and educational events in the run-up to the parade itself.

“We’re always open to new ideas and energy, and people can get in touch with us via social media if they would like to get involved.”
