Photos released of Trillick house used as a drugs factory

POLICE have released images of a drugs factory which they raided in Trillick last month.

Drugs with an estimated street value of over £170,000 were seized during the operation on April 17.

Police officers forced their way into the property and found what the PSNI has described as a ‘substantial and sophisticated drug cultivation factory’ in the house.

Two men found lying on blow-up mattresses in the living room were arrested and have since appeared in court charged with possession of a class B drug, possession of a class B drug with intent to supply, cultivating cannabis, possessing criminal property and dishonestly using electricity.

A bail application for the two men was refused after the court was told they ‘have no ties to the jurisdiction’ and there was concern they would leave the country.

They are due to appear in court again later this month.

Releasing the images of what they discovered in the Trillick house, a PSNI spokesperson urged people to come forward with information about any similar operations they have suspicions about.

“We would like to remind the public information can be reported to police by calling 101 or online via our website. Alternatively, information can be submitted anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111,” the spokesperson added.
