PLANS have been approved for 69 new houses in Coalisland.
The properties are planned for land at Annagher Road opposite Coalisland Na Fianna’s clubhouse.
As well as the houses, the development will also include car parking for each property and communal space.
Planning approval for the development was granted last night at a meeting of Mid Ulster District Council’s Planning Committee.
The company behind the development is Magherafelt-based Plum Avenue Company Ltd.
Meanwhile, the council’s Planning Committee also last night granted permission for the construction of five new houses in Stewartstown.
The five detached houses and garages are to be built at the rear of 54 North Street in the village.
