A priest is due in court tomorrow charged with attempted sexual communication with a child.
The 58-year-old cleric was arrested by police in Derry yesterday after being approached by so-called paedophile hunters.
It is understood the priest is currently based in Donegal but has also served in Co Tyrone.
He is due to appear tomorrow before a special sitting of Derry Magistrates Court.
