AN Omagh supermarket is expected to re-open in around two weeks’ time after ungergoing a major refurbishment that has seen it double in size.
Closed since February, the revamped Lidl store on James Street is expected to create 15 new jobs.
Dozens of workmen at the site have been working round the clock to have the new store ready for the people of Omagh on October 13.
Chris Speers, regional property executive for Lidl Northern Ireland, said, “Omagh is an important location for us, serving a thriving community base, and benefiting from the A5 commuter corridor, which brings even more shoppers through our doors.
“I look forward to welcoming 15 new members to our team.”
