TWO people were arrested on the outskirts of Omagh yesterday in connection with alleged shoplifting in the town.
Police said they received a report of ‘active shoplifting’ in the town centre yesterday.
During a follow-up operation, a vehicle was stopped on the Beltany Road and suspected stolen goods were found in the car.
“Police will continue to actively target shop lifting as part of Operation Seasons greetings,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
