It’s the North’s biggest ever education project.
The diggers recently moved on site and the £375m Strule Shared Education Campus in Omagh, when it opens in 2028, will be home to six post-primary schools.
However, why has it taken so long to get to this stage with a project which was first proposed 15 years ago?
