THE WeAreTyrone team has been shortlisted for two awards in the Regional Press Awards this year.
Celebrating the best of UK regional and local journalism, the awards are organised on behalf of the industry by the Society of Editors.
Our 28-page supplement to mark the 25th anniversary of the Omagh bomb, published in August last year, has been shortlisted in the Supplement of the Year category.
Our weekly Tyrone titles – The UlsterHerald, TyroneHerald and Strabane Chronicle – have been shortlisted in the News Brand of the Year category.
The shortlist has been selected by a large panel of experts drawn from across the industry, chaired by former Reach plc editorial leader Alison Gow and former Northern Echo editor Peter Sands.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on April 16, 2024.
