STRABANE Athletic manager Liam McMenamin has further strengthened his squad this week by signing former Cliftonville, Finn Harps and Dergview defender Damien McNulty.
McNulty is a vastly experienced centre-back and will help fill the void left by the departure of Dylan Forbes who is moving to London to further his studies.
McNulty is McMenamin’s fifth new signing following the recent return of striker Sean Ferry and the manager believes both players will have a key role to play for Athletic in the coming season.
“I’m very happy that Sean has returned to give the squad a massive boost,” he said.
“His physical presence, hold up play, goals and experience will be a valuable asset to the team when the season gets underway.”
