THE draw has officially been made ahead of the revival of the historic Jim Devlin Cup, a pre-season competition that will be played in April and finished up in early May.
The Jim Devlin Cup, which hasn’t been played in two decades, will be revived in the spring to mark the 50th anniversary of the murders of Jim and Gertrude Devlin by loyalist gunmen outside Edendork.
It will take place between the sixteen Division One teams in Tyrone on a knock-out starting in April and culminating in the final which will be played on Wednesday, May 8 at Jim Devlin’s home ground of Fr Peter Campbell Park in Coalisland.
The draw for the first-round clashes was made at Tuesday evening’s meeting of the Tyrone CCC and is as follows:
Carrickmore v Galbally
Dungannon v Donaghmore
Coalisland v Dromore
Pomeroy v Eglish
Killyclogher v Errigal Ciaran
Ardboe v Trillick
Clonoe v Edendork
Loughmacrory v Omagh
