DRUMRAGH and Kildress will bring down the curtain on an incredible 2020 Club Championship campaign when they collide in the Tyrone Junior showdown next weekend.
It will be the second successive appearance in the final for the Wolfe Tones who yesterday (Sun) accounted for fierce local rivals Cookstown 1-12 to 2-7.
Last season they came up short in their bid for the Pat Darcy Cup with the Rock taking the spoils.
However for Drumragh the wait has been longer…much longer. You have to go all the way back 1999 for the last time the Sarsfields made the Junior Championship decider when they got the better of Stewartstown.
Drumragh boss Simon McGeary said, “It’s absolutely brilliant. 1999- it’s hard to believe for a club like Drumragh. Everything about them just shouts ambition. That’s the leadership shown by the committee off the pitch.”
