Lindsay is hoping lightning strikes twice

KRIS Lindsay will be asking for a repeat performance from his players when they face Cliftonville in the opening Danske Bank Premiership game of 2021 tomorrow (Saturday).

Back in November Swifts produced their best performance of the season thus far by defeating the Reds 2-1 at Stangmore Park.

That was Dungannon’s first win of the season and they followed that up with an impressive home victory over Coleraine. However since those highlights things have turned a little sour for the Tyrone outfit and following a 4-0 defeat at Linfield last time out Swifts have slipped back into the bottom two.

Lindsay though is hoping that the extended break over the festive period will have given his players enough time to recharge the batteries so that they can again achieve the standards they set the last time Paddy McLaughlin’s men came to town.

“If we can replicate what we achieved the last time I’d be more than happy,” he said.
