The NIFL Championship will not go ahead this season.
At a meeting of club representatives last night clubs decided against attempting to salvage a season that had failed to get off the ground because of coronavirus restrictions.
NIFL had tried to kick-start the season on a number of occasions but at last night’s meeting club delegates admitted defeat and decided enough was enough.

The decision by clubs has yet to be ratified by NIFL.
If it is then there is likely to be no relegation from the Danske Bank Premiership.
