Last week Tommy Nethery caught up with Aughnacloy’s finest Rebecca Edwards who competed for the GB women’s eight rowing team in Tokyo.
It was an experience of a lifetime for the former RS Dungannon pupil and one she would love to repeat.
Reflecting on her time at the Olympics she said, “I found myself surrounded by people who had picked up medals, you can learn a lot from them. Above all else though, I learned a lot about myself.” Rebecca Edwards
