A TYRONE showjumping star has received support from Atlas Communications through the purchase of a new horsebox.
At just 18-years-old, Niamh McEvoy has already made a name for herself in the world of international showjumping, with numerous accolades, including the winner of the 2022 Balmoral International Grand Prix and the Mullingar GP.
She was also a member of the Irish Showjumping team in the three-star Nations Cup at Vejer De La Frontera in October, winning the grand prix at the show.
Until June 2022, Niamh was balancing A-Levels with showjumping. She is currently taking a gap year to focus on her passion, dividing her time between Greg Broderick’s Ballypatrick Stables and her family’s Lismore Stables in Omagh.
Sean Mahon, managing director at Atlas Communications, said, “Niamh is a talented and dedicated young showjumper and we hope that this horsebox will help on her journey to even greater success in the future.
“At Atlas we believe in supporting emerging talent and investing in the local community, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to support Niamh in this way.
“We look forward to cheering her on as she continues to make a name for herself in the showjumping world, and we are proud to be able to support her as she pursues her passion.”
The new horsebox features stalls for two horses and ample storage which is a necessity as Niamh travels regularly across Europe for competitions.
“I am so grateful to Atlas Communications for their support and for purchasing this amazing horsebox for me,” said Niamh.
“It will make such a difference to my training and competition schedule, and I can’t wait to get out on the road with it.”
