McClean brothers PBs at Lisburn Christmas Meet

STRULE Dolphins McClean brothers, Leon, Tiernan and Eunan enjoyed a successful outing at the Lisburn Christmas Meet where each recorded personal bests.

Leon and Tiernan enjoyed tremendous swims in the 50m Butterfly with the former taking more than three seconds off his PB to finish second in his heat in 31.04 seconds, while the latter also came home second in his heat with a one second PB in 30.74 seconds.

In the 50m freestyle, Eunan enjoyed a four second PB of 37.36 seconds, while Leon finished third in his age group in another new personal best of 28.11 seconds.

He then followed that up with a super swim in the 100m free, taking four seconds off his previous best to record a time of one minute 2.29 seconds. In the 50m breaststroke, Eunan finished third in his heat with a four second PB of 52.03 seconds, while Leon was second in his heat with a two second PB of 38.72 seconds and Tiernan was second in his heat with a one second PB of 34.96 seconds.
