Sion Swifts will be hoping to register their first points of the season when they lock horns with Derry City Women at Brandywell Stadium tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.
Sion, under new manager Paul Mclaughlin, lost their opening two games against champions Glentoran and last season’s runners-up Linfield 3-0.
A Kerry Beattie hat-trick in the space of 13 second half minutes did the damage for the Glens in Swifts’ latest outing at Melvin.
Tomorrow evening’s game brings together two sides who have yet to get off the mark and both will see the eagerly awaited north west derby as an opportunity to do just that. Kick off 7.45pm.
