SION Swifts Ladies have pulled off arguably the biggest coup within the local game by signing the McGuinness sisters, Kirsty and Caitlin from champions Linfield.
Both are fully fledged Northern Ireland internationals and last season Blues captain Kirsty netted 27 times and younger sibling Caitlin weighed in with an impressive 19 goals as Linfield pipped Sion to the Women’s Premiership title.
The double swoop was confirmed this evening (Sunday) and is a massive boost to Sion ahead of the 2020 season which kicks off later this month.
