Tyrone SuperCup confirms trial dates for Junior and Premier players

THE Tyrone SuperCupNI Association is inviting applications from players who are interested in representing the county at this year’s SuperCupNI tournament.

The famed international youth tournament, which was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 owing to the Covid pandemic, is scheduled to take place from Sunday, July 24 to Friday, July 29.

Martin Gallagher and Darren Crozier will manage the county’s under-18 team (Premier) with David Gilfillan and Chris Colhoun taking charge of the under-16s (Junior).

The Tyrone committee has invited applications from players with a 2006 and 2007 date of birth for the Junior team and a 2004 and 2005 date of birth for the Premier team.

The have also released trial dates starting next month.

For the Premier team they are Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Cookstown, MUSA (2-4pm), Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Dungannon United Youth FC (2-4pm) and Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Youth Sport Omagh (7-9pm).

The Junior trial dates are Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Dungannon Youth FC 11am-12:30pm). Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Cookstown, MUSA (11am-12:30pm) and Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Youth Sport Omagh (TBC).

Players are asked to attend 2/3 sessions where possible.

Registration for trials must be completed by Friday, March 11, 2022. The committee encourages early registrations which will allow for management to potentially watch players for their own team.
