A LAST-DITCH free from James Garrity earned a draw for Trillick in yesterday evening’s Division One clash against Carrickmore.
Two late points from the evergreen Conor Gormley seemed to have secured a dramatic victory for Carmen, but Garrity’s point with the last kick of the game earned an important point for Trillick (final scoreline: Trillick 1-10 Carrickmore 0-13).
Elsewhere, league leaders Dromore consigned the Moy to their first defeat of the season with a hugely impressive 4-18 to 0-10 victory.
Two goals from Simon O’Neill wasn’t enough as Killyclogher lost to Ardboe by six points (2-15 to 2-9), while Galbally claimed their first league win at the seventh time of asking with a 1-8 to 0-9 victory over neighbours Pomeroy.
Eglish, meanwhile, endured a really poor start to the season but seem to have turned a corner and were 0-17 to 0-14 victors over Edendork.
Loughmacrory have moved up to sixth in the league with a fine win over Donaghmore, while Dungannon and Clonoe played out a draw. There were also wins for Coalisland and Omagh against Derrylaughan and Errigal Ciaran respectively.
In Division Two, Greencastle ran riot with a 2-21 to 0-11 win over Aghaloo, while Aghyaran had plenty to spare against Stewartstown. Tattyreagh edged Augher by a point (2-7 to 1-9), while the Rock came good in the second-half to beat Beragh. There were also wins for Clogher, Naomh Eoghan and Gortin, and Strabane drew with Killeeshil.
As for Division Three, Eskra will be delighted to have clinched a convincing victory over Drumragh. Urney beat Castlederg in a North Tyrone clash, and Brackaville did the business against Clann na nGael.
