A FESTIVE donation of teddy bears has brought a smile to the faces of young patients in a local children’s ward this Christmas.
Caroline, Paul and Sophie Cross, on behalf of Clinton Cards in Omagh, made the kind donation of the cuddly toys to the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH), outside Enniskillen.
Staff Nurse, Tamiara O’Brien, said, “Staff and customers of Clinton Cards, Omagh kindly raised funds for in-patients in our children’s ward so that children who are in hospital over the Christmas period could receive a beautiful Clinton’s teddy bear.
“Parents and patients are delighted with the bears and it has already brought so many smiles to our patients. There is plenty more for us to continue to give out over the festive period.
“Thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful initiative it is very much appreciated.
“Your kindness will bring so much joy and happiness to children in the ward.
“We would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas!”
