Omagh man appointed to key role in fast-growing company

AN Omagh man has been appointed as the new commercial director of Tyrone-based portable building manufacturer, Mac Zero.

Eoghan O’Donnell joins directors Conor McAvoy and Orla Corr on the senior team, focused on driving forward the delivery of the company’s ambitious growth plans.

In his new role, Mr O’Donnell will lead the commercial activity of the business, directing the QS and estimating functions and developing preconstruction services and bid management to support the future growth of Mac Zero in the UK and Ireland.

Since 2021, the company has experienced significant growth, increasing its workforce from 14 to over 45 employees, with plans to create five additional roles in 2025.

Having been with Mac Zero since April 2022, Mr O’Donnell brings over 12 years of experience in construction, specialising specifically in modular construction over the past eight years.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Quantity Surveying from Edinburgh Napier University.
