FIREFIGHTERS have been dealing with a large gorse fire near Clogher.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said it received a report of a fire near the Ashfield Road yesterday afternoon.
About 25 firefighters, five appliances and one command support unit were sent to deal with the blaze, but a spokesperson said there was no risk to life or property.
Last night, the NIFRS said firefighters remained at the scene of the blaze.
The NIFRS has advised those who live nearby to keep windows and doors closed due to the smoke.
There have been a number of large gorse fires in Tyrone and other parts of the North in recent months.
