MARK Bradley marked his return to club football with a hat-trick of goals against Errigal Ciaran, but it wasn’t enough as his opponents finished strongly to claim a high-scoring 2-14 to 4-6 victory this afternoon.
Bradley hit three goals, including two penalties, while Odhran Robinson and Ben McDonnell bagged majors for Errigal.
Elsewhere in Division One, Coalisland, who have had a mixed season, claimed an important 1-13 to 0-10 win over Pomeroy. Loughmacrory, by contrast, have been in great form and carved out a five-point win against Clonoe.
Trillick looked on course for victory against Donaghmore, but a last-minute goal ensured it ended level on a scoreline of 0-20 to 3-11. Derrylaughan defeated Edendork by the bare minimum (1-11 to 2-7), and it was the same story for Ardboe who edged Dromore by a point.
In the early afternoon game, Moy squeezed out Galbally by 1-9 to 1-7, while Omagh St Enda’s were full value for their win over Dungannon. Carrickmore also carried on their good form with a 0-20 to 1-10 win over Eglish.
Results are also coming through in Division Two. High-flying Greencastle edged Beragh by 2-8 to 0-10, while Aghaloo swatted aside Gortin by 0-17 to 0-8. Strabane and Tattyreagh played out a high-scoring encounter, with the Tatts prevailing by 1-20 to 3-12.
Meanwhile, the final round fixtures in Division Three were played yesterday.
League champions Eskra claimed a 3-15 to 0-11 victory over Brackville, while Drumragh claimed a seven-point win over Brocagh.
Cookstown had it easy against Coalisland Thirds, while Errigal Ciaran Thirds, who had a good league campaign, beat Castlederg. Urney beat Brocagh, while Fintona finished their campaign on a high with a win over Derrytresk.
