Megan celebrates 21st birthday with visit from country star

THE Omagh Centre was filled with the sweet sounds of country music recently, as service user, Megan Devlin celebrated her 21st birthday with a special visit from her favourite artist of all time.

Surprised and overjoyed, the birthday girl certainly enjoyed a day that she will remember and cherish forever as she sang to songs by Mickey Joe Harte… alongside the man himself.

“We were delighted that talented singer, Mickey Joe Harte was able to make a special visit to celebrate Megan’s 21st birthday,” said Ciara Rodgers, manager of the Omagh Centre said.

“He also performed some of his songs, which are Megan’s favourite tunes and which she listens to often.

“Megan is a huge fan of the singer,” Ciara added.

“So, to have him visit her at the Omagh Centre was a wonderful surprise.

“We are extremely grateful to Mickey Joe for kindly taking time out of his busy schedule to join Megan, her mum, friends and staff at the centre to celebrate her birthday.

“We all had a fantastic and memorable morning. We wish Megan a very happy 21st birthday – it was definitely a day that she will treasure for ever!”
